Meet Our Team

Passionate about wellness.

Allison Andrews
Founder, Program Director, Health Coach

Allison believes that health is multi-dimensional, individual, and requires daily practice. So much more than what we eat or how much we move, our level of wellbeing, integrity and potential is determined by how in tune and aligned we are with that which we care about most, our core values. The same is true at the organizational level.

Allison was introduced to the world of holistic health and wellness through the lens of yoga and meditation. After almost 10 years of practice, she received her Yoga Teaching Certification in 2012 from the Association for Yoga and Meditation in India. Since then, Allison has undergone additional trainings in both Yoga Anatomy and Adjustments at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, taught over 500 hours of yoga and meditation to a variety of skill levels and body types, and attended a 10-day silent meditation course (Vipassana) during which she practiced over 100 hours of meditation.

Allison founded OmBody Health in 2014, the same year that she received her Health Coaching Certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City. Since then, Allison has worked with over 30 companies and provided over 130 workshops and group health coaching programs at organizations throughout New England. As the Program Director at OmBody Health, Allison has guided many HR, Wellness, and Senior Leadership Teams in developing and implementing holistic wellness programs, including: onsite yoga, fitness and meditation and mindfulness classes, healthy lifestyle workshops on a variety of topics including stress reduction, healthy eating, and financial wellness, online wellness interest surveys and wellness challenges, and employee health and life coaching.

In December 2016, Allison published her first book, a comprehensive self-care guide titled Wake Up! 40 Simple Self-Care Rituals for a Healthy, Abundant, and Purposeful Life. In addition to being a published author, Certified Health Coach and Yoga/Meditation Teacher, Allison has her Master’s Degree in Education with a specialization in Corporate Wellness from Northcentral University.

Julia Workman
Fitness Program Director, Marketing Strategist

Julia's fitness philosophy is that movement is a celebration of your body's strengths, not a punishment for it's weaknesses.

Having worked in a corporate setting, Julia understands the issues that can cause a buildup of physical, mental and emotional stress in the workplace. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge and tools for dealing with stress. In addition to directing corporate fitness programs, she also provides powerful workshops that guide busy people toward healthier work/life integration. Additionally, Julia acts as chief marketing strategist. She specializes in social media marketing and promotional development.

Throughout Julia's fitness journey, she has been an avid athlete, dancer, and yogi. She is formally trained in the Ashtanga-derived Vinyasa style of yoga, as well as Pilates, Barre, Buti Yoga, and High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT). Also trained in mindfulness meditation, Julia integrates principles from several different movement and awareness practices to teach a variety of methods that address issues of the body and mind, often simultaneously.

She believes that cultivating a peaceful and resilient mindset is the most important component to achieving one's best self, both on and off the yoga mat. Julia strives to help each client envision and manifest the healthiest, happiest version of him or herself.

In her teaching, Jennie utilizes Ayurvedic and Yogic tools such as posture, mindful adjustment, breath work, meditation, and bandha (energetic locks) to create targeted and unique classes that address physical, energetic, and psychosomatic needs-empowering her students to participate in their own healing process.

Lee Sowles
Yoga Instructor

Lee’s career has been dedicated to non-profit work and public health; teaching Yoga has always been part time, until recently. In 2007, Lee’s life was profoundly changed when she found her Yoga practice, and she quickly recognized the disparity in who is able to access Yoga and how many people are intimidated to try a class for fear of “not being flexible enough”. Knowing that flexibility is only a tiny piece of what a yoga practice can offer, she hopes to break down some of the barriers that prevent people from trying a class, and help spread the benefits of Yoga and meditation.
In 2011, Lee attended Yoga Teacher Training, specializing in Hatha Yoga. After her training, Lee moved to Boston where she taught part time under a mentor who supported her growth as a teacher working with a diverse group of people living with long term injuries, disabilities, and other ailments. At the same time, Lee received her Masters of Public Health from Northeastern University where she focused on social determinants of health and health disparities.
More recently, Lee has embraced a Yin Yoga and Meditation practice and is working to find a healthy balance of life’s ongoing “to-do’s”, and enjoying what each present moment has to offer. In March 2017, she participated in a Yin Yoga and Meditation Intensive Training and is enthusiastic about introducing this life changing practice to others.
Lee is inspired by and looks up to her little sister, Allie, as an entrepreneur and incredible human being. She is thrilled to be part of the OmBody Health team and to support hard working people find their healthy balance in life.

Jacqueline Boudreau
Yoga & Fitness Instructor, Herbalist

Jacqueline's health and wellness philosophy aligns with exploring and celebrating what our bodies are capable of; cultivating empowerment through movement; and acknowledging that our health is directly connected to the quality of natural resources and our connection to the natural world. She comes from a background with a strong foundation in Wildlife Biology and outdoor education. It is through time exploring, wild foraging, and working in the outdoors she stumbled upon the world of Herbalism/Plant Medicine - a powerful avenue for accessing the healing potential of the earth, a true vault of wisdom and wellness many cultures have been practicing for centuries.

Jacquie also has an extensive background training in Ayurveda, yoga, pranayama, meditation and holistic health, all of which guide her teaching. She teaches an array of yoga and fitness class that focus on uplifting, empowering, energizing movement, mindful attention, and using breath as fuel to navigate challenging opportunities for growth on and off the mat.  She truly believes movement is not a chore but a true gift to realize and utilize your own life force. Her strong belief is that the more we focus on the health and wellness of body, mind, spirit on an individual level, the more of a ripple effect will reverberate into the rest of the world; the more awake we will be to fully show up in life and take better care of each other and this amazing, beautiful planet we get to call home.
