Many are telling me that they know how important self-care is, they know it feels great when they make the time to do it, but they just can’t seem to consistently make it a priority.
People I talk to are unclear about how to shake up old mental and behavioral patterns to make meaningful, lasting shifts in how they care for and relate to themselves.
If you’re ready to up-level how you show up for yourself in 2021, but still don’t have a clear plan of action for what that looks like day-to-day, week-to-week, month-to-month, this free workshop was (literally) made for you.
During this session, you’ll be guided to identify your biggest barriers to self-care and wellbeing, bring awareness to any habits that do not feel self-aligned, and get clear (and excited) about what you want to do, create, change, make happen, lead…this year!
We must dare to dream in 2021. We must imagine a life where we refill our cup, first. Which means we must put an end to making sure everyone and everything else is OK before focusing on ourselves; a lifestyle that leaves us feeling drained and disconnected from our hopes and dreams – a connection that is crucial if we are to leave our imprint on the world.
As “black, lesbian, mother, warrior, poet” Audre Lorde wrote:
“Caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare.”
Show up for yourself. Take time for yourself. Reconnect with your why. Create space in your life…because space is where the magic happens!

If we haven’t met snuggling up to a tree somewhere…
Hi, I’m Allie, recovering busy addict, sun lover, poetry dabbler, and self-care coach.
I want to start by saying, I DON’T have it all together, but one thing I have figured out is how to create a lifestyle where self-care stays front and center through the inevitable busyness and ups and downs of life.
BUT, I wasn’t always like this…I still remember the days when I struggled with:
It wasn’t until I developed a daily ritual of slowing down and checking in with myself, like really checking in, and being honest about what I found, that I realized how much I had been burying my intuition, letting busyness, productivity and expectations run the show, and lying to myself and the world about my feelings in a blind attempt to maintain an illusion eternal happiness, stability and perfection.
My journey inward has taught me what self-care really is – beyond bubble baths and meditation (both of which I LOVE). I figured out that I didn’t only need to care for myself on the surface, but I needed to create space and a nourishing substrate for what’s dormant below the surface to wriggle it’s way up and unfold before my eyes – however ugly.
I realized I needed to continuously cultivate self-love through the lens of self-care because I could not rely on the fleeting perceptions of my thinking mind to feel safe and secure, and to explore the deep, dark treasures that lie within (all of us), waiting to be exposed.
Intentional self-care and self-exploration is the key to wholeness, it is the key to creativity, it is the key to not just sustaining ourselves, but thriving, it is the key to healing ourselves and healing together. It’s the key to feeling lighter, to feeling healthier, and to reuniting with ourselves.
If you’re waiting for the “right time” to stop chasing expectations at the expense of your wellbeing, joy and purpose, consider it now! Let me support you in refilling your cup so you can do the Work you’re here to do.
