Do you ever anticipate fitting more into your day than you have the bandwidth for?
Do you ever impulsively say yes, and then later regret it, or feel the burden of stress because you’re unable to deliver?
Do you ever feel like you should be doing more?
In this Workshop, You Will Learn
In a world where the demands on our time and energy are never-ending, it is up to us to create boundaries so that we have the space for deep rest, self-replenishment, and the projects and people that light us up.
If you ever find yourself rushing around to get everything done, yet feeling unfulfilled and disconnected from yourself, something crucial is missing. In this workshop, I’ll show you what that is and how to set boundaries with your time while also being flexible and receptive in the face of your changing needs, and the needs of others.
Time boundaries are not only an act of self-love, but they are crucial for productivity (and sanity).
When: February 23, 12:00-1:15 ET (Replay available)
If we haven’t met snuggling up to a tree somewhere…
Hi, I’m Allie, recovering busy addict, sun lover, yoga teacher and self-care coach.
I want to start by saying, I DON’T have it all together, but one thing I have figured out is how to create a lifestyle where self-care stays front and center through the inevitable busyness and ups and downs of life.
BUT, I wasn’t always like this…I still remember the days when I struggled with:
It wasn’t until I developed a daily ritual of slowing down and checking in with myself, like really checking in, and being honest about what I found, that I realized how much I had been burying my intuition, letting busyness, productivity and expectations run the show, and lying to myself and the world about my feelings in a blind attempt to maintain an illusion eternal happiness, stability and perfection.
My journey inward has taught me what self-care really is – beyond bubble baths and meditation (both of which I LOVE). I figured out that I didn’t only need to care for myself on the surface, but I needed to create space and a nourishing substrate for what’s dormant below the surface to wriggle it’s way up and unfold before my eyes – however ugly.
I realized I needed to continuously cultivate self-love through the lens of self-care because I could not rely on the fleeting perceptions of my thinking mind to feel safe and secure, and to explore the deep, dark treasures that lie within (all of us), waiting to be exposed.
Intentional self-care and self-exploration is the key to wholeness, it is the key to creativity, it is the key to not just sustaining ourselves, but thriving, it is the key to healing ourselves and healing together. It’s the key to feeling lighter, to feeling healthier, and to reuniting with ourselves.
