This nutrient-packed smoothie is a play on a “lassi,” a traditional yogurt-based drink from the Indian Subcontinent. A typical lassi is made with yogurt, water, spices, and sometimes fruit. Many lassis are served as savory drinks, but sweeter, smoothie-like lassis have gained popularity in recent times. This “lassi” can be made with either mango or banana. It blends warming spices with sweet fruit, honey, and creamy yogurt for a unique sipping experience!
This recipe is a great choice to “detox” your body from the indulgences of the weekend. The yogurt provides probiotics, which are essential for proper digestion.
