About the “Perfect” to Present Series
This weekly series will help you unlearn perfectionism, workaholism and selflessness and return to a pace and rhythm that feels sustainable and deeply satisfying.
Do you ever overextend yourself and then feel self-critical, guilty or even shameful when you can’t (or don’t want to) do it all?
Perfectionism, workaholism and selflessness are part of the old, patriarchal paradigm, but many of us still have these tendencies woven into us.
The result?
- We overcommit ourselves to the point of overwhelm.
- We feel unhealthy, maybe even burnt-out, lacking the energy and stamina to do the things that we know will pull us out of the rut.
- And worst, we live in our heads, constantly questioning ourselves, and we struggle to be present for our life.
As a recovering perfectionist who learned to value myself for what I accomplish and to put the needs of others before my own, I have spent my adult life returning to a pace and rhythm that feels healthy, sustainable and deeply satisfying for me.
In “Perfect” to Present I teach the tools and insights that continue to support me in prioritizing my health, honoring my rhythms, and restoring balance when I feel overwhelmed.
